Moorish Prince took command at the three-quarter marker in a time of 1:12.01 and drew clear widening through the stretch while kept to a drive for a ten length victory in The Castle Guard Handicap in a final time of 1:44.26.  River Power was second best as Beknown To Me finished another three and three-quarter of a length back in third position.  Moorish Prince is a seven-year-old dark bay/brown horse owned by Ocean View Stables and Glenn R. Thompson, trained by Glenn R. Thompson and was ridden by Michael C. Baze.

Native Heir took the lead from Sheryar Special in the far turn and go the half-mile in 44.02 and dueled with Take Achance On Me drifting out then inched clear late for a one length victory in The $60,000 Icecapade Stakes in a final time of 1:10.28.  Take Achance On Me finished second as Here’s Zealous finished evenly outside for third.  Native Heir is a five-year-old bay gelding owned by Michael J. Gill, trained by Mark Shuman and was ridden by Abel Castellano, Jr.

Misty Sixes took over from Rebecca’s Charm at the three-quarter marker in 1:11.19, was kept to the task until late then was allowed to coast home, winning the Lighthouse Stakes by eleven and three-quarter lengths in a final time of 1:42.69.  Rebecca’s Charm, after setting the early pace, was no match for the top one but gamely held the place a neck in front of Cocktailsandreams, who finished third.  Misty Sixes is a five-year-old bay mare owned by Sanford Goldfarb and John Proctor, trained by Steve B. Klesaris and was ridden by Joe Bravo.

Tangier Sound took the lead immediately after leaving the gate and reeled off an opening quarter in 21.63 as Boozin’ Susan pressed the leader in second.  Through the far turn Boozin’ Susan continued to press the leader, Tangier Sound as the field entered the stretch.  Turning for home Tangier Sound stretched her lead to a half-length before Boozin’ Susan responded gamely in the drive and edged clear late for a one and one-quarter length victory in The Incredible Revenge Stakes in a final time of 55.83.  Tangier Sound, after setting the early pace, finished second while it was another three and three-quarter lengths back to Multiple Wins in third.  Boozin’ Susan is a three-year-old bay filly owned by Run For The Roses Stable, Inc., trained by Linda Rice and was ridden by Jose C. Ferrer.

Roger E set the early pace getting the half-mile in 47.23 as Abreeze pressed the pace a head back in second position. Abreeze took the lead at the three-quarter marker in 1:10.51 stretching out to a one and one-half length lead as Roger E was starting to back up. In the stretch Abreeze still had a one length lead and battled to the wire before losing to Jersey Giant, who advanced three wide on the far turn, and prevailed in the final strides after a long drive to win The Skip Trial Stakes by a game head in a final time of 1:41.04. Seattle Glory finished third. Jersey Giant is a four-year-old dark bay/brown colt owned by Joel A. Kligman, trained by James T. Ryerson and was ridden by Julian Pimentel.

Home Run Hitter took the early but gave way through the turn to the oncoming Impolite, who had dueled three wide for the early lead, shook free in upper stretch and remained clear under urging to win The Joseph Buckelew Stakes by one and three-quarter lengths. Impolite's stablemate Six Pack Sally was well placed on the inside, angled out three wide and finished willingly to earn place while Glowing Breeze raced off the rail and finished gamely outside missing second by a nose. Impolite is a two-year-old Gray/Roan Filly owned by Ray Noble, trained by Linda Rice and was ridden by Jose C. Ferrer.

Boston Brahmin pressed the leader gamely and battled through the stretch earning a game second as Stormy Siege rallied inside for the show spot. Lissau is a two-year-old dark bay/brown colt owned by William K. Warren, Jr., trained by Linda Rice and was ridden by Jose C. Ferrer.
