Jackson moved into second a half-length behind the leader as Ganache dropped to third position.  Holiest Punch running in fourth position started to make his move as the field entered the far turn.  At the three-quarter mile marker  Beknown To Me had opened up a two and one-half length lead as Holiest Punch making his best run moved off the rail into the stretch in second position as H.M.S. Jackson was trying to find some rally in third position.  Through the stretch and to the wire Beknown To Me opened on up on the field and won The Lincroft Handicap by nine and one-quarter lengths at the wire.  Holiest Punch was second best as H.M.S. Finish Wire:

Doc Wild bobbled leaving the starting gate.  Pure Precision took the early lead setting a fast early pace pressured by Truman’s Raider and Wild Navigator.  Pure Precision ran the opening quarter mile in a swift 21:3.  Truman’s Raider was a head back in second and it was three more lengths back to Wild Navigator in third position.  As the field entered the turn Pure Precision still led the way as Truman’s Raider continued to apply the pressure as the leader ran the half mile in 44:4.  At the top of the stretch, Pure Precision was still holding off Truman’s Raider while the field was trying to reign in the leaders after a quick start, but in mid-stretch Pure Precision opened up his lead to a full length and never looked back winning The Grade II Sapling Stakes in a time of 1:10:4.  Truman’s Raider dropped back at the eighth pole, after chasing the leader, and held on for second while Wild Navigator ran third, after trying to make a move five wide in the far turn.  Pure Precision is a two-year-old colt owned by Kinsman Stable, trained by John J.
