Finish Wire:

After a good start, Eleven North took the early lead as a pack including Superduper Miss, Betty's Star, Thunder Wonder, Magicalmysterycat and Dimontina scrimmaged for second and third positions.  Eleven North ran the opening quarter in 22:0 followed by Superduper Miss who was a half-length in front of Dimontina tracking in third position down on the rail.  The field maintained its position as they ran the half-mile in 45:1 as Eleven North carried the lead into the stretch.  At the wire Eleven North was the winner of The Thomas J. Malley by three lengths over Superduper Miss who was head in front of Dimontina who maintained third position.  Eleven North is a six-year-old mare owned by Gerald F. Sleeter, trained by Kevin G. Sleeter and was ridden by Mark McCormick.

Finish Wire:

The field left the gate in good order except for Energized who was off slow and was quickly relegated to last position.  Dance Master led the field through an opening quarter of 21:4.  Don't Tell The Kids was a half-length back in second as Polish Missle was moving through an opening on the rail into third position, midway through the turn.  Leaving the turn and into the stretch Don't Tell The Kids put a head in front running the half-mile in 45:1 as Dance Master dropped back to second position as Polish Missle moved off the rail to look for racing room.  At the sixteenth pole Energized, who made an impressive last to first move running by the entire field, took the lead and drew off to win The Smoke Glacken Stakes by two lengths over Don't Tell The Kids at the wire.  Energized is a three year old colt owned by Raymond Dweck, trained by Ben Perkins, Jr. and was ridden by Tommy Turner.

Ivar Big Peaceful was off a step slow as the field left the gate.  Into the clubhouse turn Daimonds And Notes led Casino Player, who ran second and Ekundu running in third.  The quarter was run in 25:0 as the field moved onto the backstretch.  Diamonds and Notes and Casino Player ran in tandem down the backside tripping the teletimer for the half-mile in 49:1.  Ekundu was gearing up for a three wide move through the turn as Cogburn was starting to make his way through the field picking up position.  Ekundu made the lead and led through the stretch until Ivars Big Peaceful made a last ditch effort on the outside to get up at the wire to win  The Restoration Stakes in a time of 1:46:0.   Ivars Big Peaceful is a three year old owned by Ivar W. Malmstrom, trained by Vincent L. Blengs and was ridden by Jose Velez, Jr.

Sweep Well took the lead at the break and never looked back as he cut opening fractions of 22:0 and 44:0 and opened up in the stretch to win by two lengths in an impressive time of 1:09:0.  Holdiay Music was gaining in second position but it was never close as Sweep Well won The Teddy Drone Stakes.  Sweep Well is a four year old colt owned by Noreen Carpenito, trained by William W. Perry and was ridden by Dale Beckner.

The field was sent off to a good start.  Moving into the first turn Pleasant Feeling led Mountain Range by a head as Fire King ran in third position with Prime Directive running fourth.  The four frontrunners maintained their positions down the backside through a half-mile in 47:1.  Leaving the far turn and into the stretch Fire King overtook Mountain Range and Pleasant Feeling, who was dropping back.  Over To You was now moving up on the outside.  Fire King held on through the stretch to win The Forty Niner Stakes by a length over Mountain Range and Over The Top.  Fire King is a seven year old horse owned by John Rotella, trained by Juan Serey and was ridden by Chuck C. Lopez.

Finish Wire:

The field had a good start and North East Bound took the lead as the field left the shute entering the main course.  North East Bound led El Mirasol, Loch Bering and Mi Narrow as the field entered the clubhouse turn.  On the backstretch North East Bound ran a half-mile in 51:3 as the field let the frontrunner get away with easy early fractions.  In the far turn,  El Mirasol and Colonel Bradley tried to take up the chase but North East Bound, after cutting the early easy fractions, had plenty left in the tank to win The Battlefield Stakes by two lengths at the wire.  North East Bound is a four year old gelding owned by Julian DeMarco and Richard Disano, trained by William W. Perry and was ridden by Jose Velez, Jr.

North East Bound wins the Battlefield in a front running masterpiece.  Jose Velez was aboard for the victory.

The field was sent to a good start as Sheldons Jet took the lead into the first turn followed by Shashobegon, Paparika and Wittenberg.  Sheldons Jet led Shashobegon through a half-mile in 47:0 and then opened up on the turn.  Sheldons Jet took a two and one-half length lead into the stretch and held on to win by a length at the wire over Back In Shape and Shashobegon.  Sheldons Jet is a four year old filly owned by SJB Stable, trained by Timothy J. Tullock, Jr., and was ridden by Michael McCarthy.

Sheldons Jet wins The Lady's Secret Stakes.

The field was away from the gate in good order as Reciclada took the lead leaving the shute and led the field through the clubhouse turn.  Seaside Deli, High Lady and Heliotrope took up the chase in a scrimmage for second and third positions.  Reciclada led the field down the backside through a half-mile in 49:1.  In the far turn Seaside Deli tried to put pressure on Reciclada but Reciclad opened up by four lengths and never looked back winning The Eatontown in a time of 1:44:1.  Reciclada is a five year old mare owned by Diamond A Racing Corporation, trained by Richard E. Mandella and was ridden by Alex Solis.

Reciclada wins The Grade III Eatontown Stakes.

The field was sent off to a good start, except for Thistyranthasclass who took a bad step after leaving the gate but recovered to take the early lead.  Thistyranthasclass led the field through an opening quarter of 23:1 being pressed by More Than Ready and Captain Steve.  Commendable moved into third as the half-mile was run in 47:2.  Thistyranthasclass continued to lead as the field entered the far turn as Captain Steve was drawing alongside the leader entering the head of the stretch.  At the eighth pole, Captain Steve had wrestled to the lead as Thistyranthasclass started to fade while More Than Ready and Dixie Union were making strong runs at the leader.  Dixie Union found his best stride late as he got up to beat Captain Steve near the wire as Milwaukee Brew moved up along the rail to get the show spot as Captain Steve held on for second.  Dixie Union is a three year old colt owned by Diamond A Racing Corporation and H. Sarkowsky, trained by Richard E. Mandella and was ridden by Alex Solis.

Dixie Union wins the 2000 Haskell Invitational Handicap.
