Finish Wire:

Rudirudy led the field through an opening half-mile in a swift 43.94 ass Manofglory was running a neck off the leader in second.  Rideouts Patton was another two lengths back in third position as the field made its way through the stretch.  In deep stretch, Rideouts Patton continued to make up ground on the leader, Rudirudy, and took the lead nearing the wire winning The Wolf Hill Stakes by a length at the wire.  Rudirudy, after running very quick early fractions held on for second as Red Weasel came from off the pace to gain third.  Rideouts Patton is a four-year-old bay colt owned by Howard E. Rideout, trained by Timothy A. Hills and was ridden by Jose Velez, Jr.

Finish Wire:

Four went to the post for the Ocean Hotel Stakes as Miss Atticus was away alertly and dueled through the opening three-eighths of a mile with Bold World as Little Out and Primary Colors ran three and four.  As the leaders entered the stretch Bold World opened up to a three length lead leaving Miss Atticus behind as Little Out was now overtaking the second spot after running four wide in the turn.  Primary Colors was well behind in fourth and never got in the race.   At the wire Bold World was a three and one-half length victor in a time of 56.73.  Little Out was second best as Miss Atticus settled for third.  Bold World is a three-year-old bay filly owned by Hardacre Farm, trained by Ronald James Taylor and was ridden by Jose Velez, Jr.

Finish Wire:

Numbers Man led the field out of the gate through an opening half-mile in 45.20 as BK Dodger and Just Le Facts pressed the pace in second and third.  As the field made its way through the stretch and to the wire Runaway Choice made a final closing move to catch the early pace setters and get up by three-quarters of a length to win the Crank It Up Stakes.  Lord Abounding also closed from off the pace to finish second as Stormy Day closed for third.   Runaway Choice is a three-year-old gray/roan colt owned by  Tom R. Durant, trained by Ronny W. Werner and was ridden by Dale Beckner.

Seven went postward in the Politely as Sluice led the field through the opening three-quarters of the mile race in a time of 1:12.76 as Kim pressed the leader closely in second.  Wittenburg was also running well in third position.  As the field moved into the stretch Sluice had opened up a two length lead as Wittenburg had moved into second as Caught Out ran four wide through the turn and was now driving on the outside.  At the wire, Caught Out passed the leaders and drew away to score the victory by a half-length at the wire.  Sluice, the early pace setter held on for second as Clearly A Queen managed the third spot.  Caught Out is a four-year-old bay filly owned by Richard Bonnycastle and Harlequin Ranches, trained by Michael W. Dickinson and was ridden by Eddie King, Jr.

Finish Wire:

Willie's Luv led the field through the opening half-mile in a moderate 46.82 three lengths in front of second place runner Smart As Scot while Picnic Theme ran in an unhurried third as the field spread out moving down the backside. In the far turn Willie's Luv opened up another length on the field and was clear by four as he entered the stretch. Firecard moved into second position on the outside as Picnic Theme continued to run evenly in third position as Smart As Scot was now tailing off into fourth position. Through the stretch and to the wire Willie's Luv continued to draw away from his four other rivals winning the Santo Lalomia Handicap by six an one-half lengths on the wire. Firecard earned the place spot a nose over Gaelic Bay who took the show spot. Willie's Luv is a three-year-old bay filly owned by Freedom Acres, Inc., trained by Jamie Woodington and was ridden by Jose C. Ferrer.

Due to the bad weather seven scratched which shortened the field to just three runners thus losing the graded status for this race. At the break Tempest Fugit took early command and rated on the lead as he cut fractions of 24.34, 47.92 and 1:11.37. One Eyed Joker ran a length and one-half off the leader at the quarter marker before Runspastum took up the stalker role passing the half-mile marker as One Eyed Joker dropped to third position. Entering the stretch Tempest Fugit still had a two length lead as Runspastum was not able to make up any ground while One Eyed Joker was not firing after a wide trip in the turn. At the wire Tempest Fugit drew off to win the Oceanport Handicap by three lengths at the wire. Runspastum was second best as One Eyed Joker finished third. Tempest Fugit is a five-year-old dark bay/brown gelding owned by Dennis A. Drazin, trained by Jason Servis and was ridden by Jose Velez, Jr.

The field was sent off to a good start as Red Weasel took the early lead and ran the opening half-mile in a leisurely 47.23 as Thistyranthasclass stalked the early pace setter rating by a half length in second as John Little was another one and one-half lengths back in third. Through the turn Red Weasel still lead but his lead was dwindling to a mere head as Thistyranthasclass was now gearing up for the stretch drive on his outside. On the outside Sea Of Tranquility had circled the field and moved into third as the field entered the stretch. At the top of the lane Thistyranthasclass took a brief lead before giving way to Sea Of Tranquility who was moving like a freight train on the outside. Red Weasel, the early pacesetter, was now back in third position. At the wire Sea Of Tranquility was alone by four and one-half lengths winning the 2002 Edition of the Jersey Breeders' Handicap. Thistyranthasclass was second best as Red Weasel held on for the show spot. Sea Of Tranquility is a six-year-old chestnut horse owned by Triple M Farm, Inc., trained by Richard E. Paulus and was ridden by Jose C. Ferrer.

Run Kush Run led the field through an opening half-mile in a snappy 44.58 as Captain Red was two lengths behind in second position while Impeachthepro rated another head back in third position as the field turned into the stretch. In the lane Impeachthepro took the lead and battled to the wire scoring a three-quarters of a length victory over Esteemed Friend who finished in the second spot as Ticket To Freedom was up for third. Impeachthepro is a five-year-old dark bay/brown horse owned by N. Laneve, W. Warner & M. A. Ferraro, trained by M. Anthony Ferraro and was ridden by Dale Beckner.
