Finish Wire:

After the field broke well from the gate C.R. Pace established the early lead and posted early fractions of 23:2 for the quarter mile and 47:0 for the half mile before giving way to Laurica.  Laurica took the lead in the final turn running six furlongs in 1:11:4.  In a tough stretch drive Kwik As A Wink wore down Laurica and got up to win the 2000 edition of the Revidere by a nose on the wire.  Kwik As A Wink is a three-year-old filly owned by the Rabbit's Foot Stable, trained by Lynda Knee and was ridden by Roberto Alvarado.

Finish Wire:

Loaded Gun broke best from the gate and tried to establish an early lead.  After posting a time of 22:2 for the quarter mile Loaded Gun gave way to The Third Dan who lead the field through a half mile in 45:1. Loaded Gun then made a second run at the lead in the stretch before drawing away to win the Reilly Handicap by one and one-half lengths.  Loaded Gun successfully defends his 1999 Reilly Handicap title by winning the 2000 edition of the Reilly in a time of 1:10:1.  Loaded Gun is a five-year-old horse owned and trained by Janice Gerace and was ridden by Sunday Diaz.

Finish Wire:

Swan Lake set the early pace through an opening quarter mile in 24:0 and 48:1 for the half-mile while being pressured by Boca Juniors.  Midway through the far turn Swan Lake conceded the lead to My Friend Terri, who went on to post a time of 1:12:0 for six furlongs, and lead the field into the home stretch before giving way to eventual winner Doctoressa, who collared the lead near the eight pole and went on to win by three quarters of a length.  Doctoressa ran the Polietly in 1:36:4, Nordican Inch placed second and Patty's Positive got up for the show spot.  Doctoressa is a five-year-old mare owned by Frank Loccisano, trained by Gary Contessa and was ridden by Chuck C. Lopez.

Avezzano broke well from the gate and established the lead running the first quarter mile in 25:0.  Seeking a quicker pace jockey Aaron Gryder put Lendell Ray on the lead into the backstretch being pressed by Powerful Appeal.  Powerful appeal tried to make a move to put away Lendell Ray over the next half mile but was denied as Lendell Ray took the lead in deep stretch and drew off to win The Jersey Derby in a time of 1:42:4.  Lendell Ray is a three-year-old colt owned by Eigel & Glass, LLP., trained by William Mott and was ridden by Aaron Gryder.

After a good start Cottage Garden opened the race covering the first quarter in 22:2 pressed by Donot Forsake Me.  After posting a half-mile in 45:4 Donot Forsake Me carried the lead into the stretch where she looked like a winner until Lorline drove up in deep stretch to take the lead.  At the sixteenth pole Lorline took the lead and scored the victory by one an one-half lengths in a final time of 1:10:1.  Donot Forsake Me got the place spot while Betty's Star took the show.  Lorline is a five-year-old mare owned by V.H.W. Stables, trained by Michael Dickinson and was ridden by Mike Smith in from New York for the mount.

Deep Gold led the field through an opening half-mile of 46:3 before surrendering it to Strategic Mission, who pressed the pace from the start of the race.  Mi Narrow stalked the leaders and then took the lead and went on to win the Red Bank by one and one-half lengths in a final time of 1:34:4.  The winner of the 1999 Oceanport Handicap, Mi Narrow is a six-year-old horse owned by Lisa Hall, trained by Edward Broome and was ridden by Cornelio Velasquez.

After a good start Special Occasion wrestled the lead from Polish Vision in the far turn and posted an opening quarter of 21:2.  Entering the home stretch Special Occasion maintained a half length lead until Howbaddouwantit came on driving in the stretch to take the lead and the five furlong stake by one and one half-lengths in a final time of 55:0.  Howbaddouwantit is a five-year-old horse owned by The Rainbow Stable, trained by Ben Perkins, Jr. and was ridden by Dale Beckner.

Golden Path and Magicalmysterycat dueled for the lead, after a good start, and reeled off the first quarter in a swift 21:4.  The quick early fractions took their toll on the leaders as they gave way to the oncoming threat of Lucky Livi and Mary's Prospect, who entered the home stretch in positions 1-2.  Lucky Livi then took over to score a two and three-quarter length victory in a time of 1:09:1 over the main track that was listed as fast.  Lucky Livi is a three-year-old filly owned by Anstu Stables, trained by Todd Pletcher and was ridden by Jose Velez, Jr.

Skyrunner set the early pace opening a half-length lead after a 21:1 first quarter and a half-mile in 41:3.  Skyrunner gave way to Handsome Trick and Magical Madness in deep stretch.  The latter two battled toward the wire before Magical Madness secured the lead seventy-five yards from the finish and held off Handsome Trick by a head to win The Crank It Up Stakes in a time of 56:0.  Magical Madness is a three-year-old colt owned by Gilbert G. Cambell, trained by Ed Allard and ridden by Roberto Alvarado.

The field broke cleanly from the starting gate yielding a three-horse battle for the lead including Winged Delite, Silent Serenade and Eleven North.  Approaching the turn eleven North was caught three wide as all three horses continued to press the pace running a half mile in 44:3.  Entering the stretch Eleven North took command passing both Winged Delite and Silent Serenade and drew off by three and one quarter lengths to win the Fair Haven Handicap for the second consecutive year.  Eleven North was carrying high weight of 121 lbs., and was the betting favorite stopping the teletimer in 1:09:3 for the six-furlong handicap.  Eleven North is a six-year-old mare owned by Gerald F. Sleeter, trained by Kevin G. Sleeter and was ridden by Chuck C. Lopez.

Gold Streamer broke the best in the five-horse field, and after establishing the lead was pressed by Chatter Patter and Too Too Divine.  After running the first quarter in 23:3 Gold Streamer conceded the lead to Arty'svirginiagirl who went on to post a half-mile time of 46:3. Arty'svirginiagirl led the field around the far turn and into the stretch before Too Too Divine found her best stride and took the lead late and won by two lengths at the wire in a final time of 1:40:4.  Too Too Divine is a five-year-old mare owned by Charles C. Lenz, Jr., trained by John J. Fee and was ridden by Marland Suckie.

A good start produced a three-horse scrimmage for the lead between Sejm Boogie, Synchrodestiny and Diamonds and Notes.  Sejm Boogie established the lead into the clubhouse turn while Synchrodestiny forced Diamonds and Notes wide into the turn becoming increasingly rank into the backstretch before taking himself completely out of the race.  Sejm Boogie led through a half-mile in 47:0.  As the field made its way into the far turn track announcer, Larry Collmus, announced that Cogburn broke stride by jumping a shadow.  However, Cogburn then found his best stride making a powerful run on the outside to collar the leader, Sejm Boogie, in deep stretch to take the lead and draw off by three and one quarter lengths to win the 2000 edition of the Spend A Buck Stakes in a final time of 1:35:0.  Gogburn is a three-year-old colt owned by Richard J. Giacopelli, trained by Anthony J. Sciametta, Jr. and was ridden by Dale Beckner.
