Main Track: Fast    Turf: Good

Finish Wire:

After the break Varsity carried a one length advantage over Rusty Charlie and Istishaary through the opening quarter of 21.47 and the half of 43.64 as Southern Danger and Perfect Officer tracked the leaders as the field moved through stretch.  In the lane Perfect Officer moved off the rail and found room in the three path and then rallied late to get up at the wire to nip Varisty by a head winning the 2011 Wolf Hill Stakes in a final time of 1:01.93.  Varsity led every step but the last one and was a tough luck second while Ju Jitsu Jax closed for third.  Perfect Officer is a five-year-old bay gelding owned by David A. Ross, trained by Michael V. Pino and was ridden by Kendrick Carmouche.
