Pants On Fire stumbled at the break and was forced to track Turbo Compressor and Harlan’s Hello through a half mile of 47.37.  Down the backside and into the far turn Pants On Fire put a head in front of the former leaders and got three-quarters in 1:10.80.  In the stretch Pants On Fire opened up to a two and a half length advantage while Turbo Compressor was weakening in second and Concealed Identity was now closing in third.  At the wire Pants On Fire won The 2011 Pegasus Stakes by two lengths in a final time of 1:42.89.  Concealed Identity finished well for second while Turbo Compressor was third.  Pants On Fire is a three-year-old dark bay/brown colt owned by George & Lori Hall, trained by Kelly J. Breen and was ridden by Anna Rose Napravnik.
