Finish Wire:
Sayif went to the early lead as is his customary position and was able to rate on the front through fractions of 24.81, 48.57 and 1:11.83 and was still on the lead entering the lane while Yummy With Butter and Workin For Hops tried to stay close.  In the lane Yummy With Butter wore down Sayif and in deep stretch drew off to win The 2011 Oceanport Stakes by a length and a quarter in a final time of 1:40.98.  Sayif was a game second after setting the early pace while Baryshnikov closed with a late rally for third.  Yummy With Butter is a seven-year-old dark bay/brown gelding owned by Bruno Schickedanz, trained by Yvon Belsoeur and was ridden by Paco Lopez.

 

Yummy With Butter wins The Grade III $200,000 Oceanport Stakes.
