After the break Dabnabit was hustled from the gate intent on the lead blazing the opening quarter in 21.87.  Fabulous Strike and Roaring Lion were pressing the leader in second and third as the field moved through the far turn.  Roaring Lion moved three wide in the turn and took the lead getting the half mile in 44.31 as Fabulous Strike was still second while Dabnabit was starting to tire dropping back to third.  In the lane Roaring Lion took over and moved clear going on to win The 2011 Mr. Prospector Stakes by two and a quarter lengths in a final time of 1:08.98.  Sean Avery, the postime favorite, was second and Fabulous Strike was third.  Roaring Lion is a seven-year-old dark bay/brown gelding owned by Repole Stable, trained by Todd A. Pletcher and was ridden by Michael Luzzi.
