$150,000

For Three-Year-Olds

One and One-Sixteenth Miles - Main Track

Saturday, July 9, 2011  Race 11

Main Track: Fast    Turf: Good

Finish Wire:

Galaxy Kat led the field through the opening half-mile of 46.93 good for a half-length advantage over Will’s Wildcat and All Of The Above.  Galaxy Cat would relinquish the lead to Will’s Wildcat as they got three-quarters in 1:11.06 as All Of The Above was still stalking three-wide as the field moved into the stretch.  In the lane All Of The Above made the lead and with a sixteenth to go was clear but gave way to a fast closing Rattlesnake Bridge who won The 2011 Long Branch Stakes by a nose at the wire in a final time of 1:41.71.  All Of The Above was second while Little Drama finished willingly for third.  Rattlesnake Bridge is a three-year-old gray/roan colt owned by Mill House LLC, trained by Kiaran McLaughlin and was ridden by Eddie Castro.
