Finish Wire:

Remit was off slow from the gate as C C’s Pal led the field through three-quarters in 1:11.44.  Successful Song pressed the leader in second while Debonair Darling and Quiet Giant tracked the early leaders in third and fourth.  In the far turn C C’s Pal started to weaken as Quiet Giant was moving to the lead while Successful Song was still running in second.  In the lane Quiet Giant straightened out and drew off to win The 2011 Lady’s Secret Stakes by six and three-quarter lengths in a final time of 1:41.54.  Lacie Slew was wide in the far turn and rallied late to get up by a neck for second while Debonair Darling was third.  Quiet Giant is a four-year-old bay filly owned by The Estate of Edward P. Evans, trained by Todd A. Pletcher and was ridden by Julien Leparoux.
