Finish Wire:
After the break Cherry On The Top raced to the lead and led the field out of the chute and down the backside as Ahvee's Destiny was pressing the leader a head back in second.  Colony Club was another head back in third as the leaders stayed in this order through the far turn and into the stretch.  In the lane Cherry On The Top would weaken late as Ahvee's Destiny would pass the leader only to be passed by a fast closing Colony Club on the outside.  Colony Club would draw off by a half-length to win The 2011 Fort Monmouth Stakes in a final time of 1:02.17.  Ahvee's Destiny was second while Cherry On The Top held on for third. Colony Club is a five-year-old dark bay/brown mare owned and trained by Alexandra S. White and was ridden by Forest Boyce.
