Finish Wire:

Tomica’s Spirit led the field through the opening six panels in 1:12.89 while Master Shade and Pinch Pie were content to track the leader in second and third.  Leaving the far turn Pinch Pie took to the lead after a rail trip as Oak Marsh and Master Shade were passing early leader Tomica’s Spirit who was tiring.  At the wire Pinch Pie scored a length and a half victory in a final time of 1:42.28.  Oak Marsh closed for second while Glore Racer rallied for third.  Pinch Pie is a three-year-old bay filly owned by Michael Dubb, Bethlehem Stables and The Elkstone Group, trained by Anthony Dutrow and was ridden by Jeremy Rose.
