Finish Wire:

After the break Hessonite checked while Salary Drive went to the front with Summer Soiree pressing the leader intently in second.  Down the backside Summer Soiree pulled jockey Gabriel Saez strongly to the front under heavy restraint.  Salary Drive continued on in second with Annabel Lee in third position.  In the far turn Summer Soiree started to draw away from the field as Salary Drive was running hard but giving up ground while Oak Marsh was now picking her way through traffic in third position as the leader entered the lane.  In deep stretch Summer Soiree drew off going on to win The 2011 Boiling Springs Stakes by a widening eight and a half lengths in a final time of 1:42.89.  My Sunshine Gal rallied late for second while Hessonite recovered after early trouble to run third.  Summer Soiree is a three-year-old bay filly owned by Team Valor International, trained by H. Graham Motion and was ridden by Gabriel Saez.
