Bronx City Girl checked shortly after the start while Feel That Fire went straight to the lead and zipped the quarter and half miles in 22.20 & 45.00 maintaining a two length advantage over D’Wild Ride and Dances With Ashley.  In the lane Feel That Fire came under heavy pressure by D’Wild Ride but dug in gamely to win The 2011 Blue Sparkler Stakes by three-quarters of a length over D’Wild Ride in a final time of 1:09.37.  Bronx City Girl rallied for third.  Feel That Fire is a four-year-old bay filly owned by Red Oak Stable, trained by Gregory D. Sacco and was ridden by Jose Valdivia, Jr.
