Steady Warrior bobbled at the break while Royal Currier went to the front and was chased by Classical Chant and Amen Corner.  In the far turn Royal Currier would continue on the lead by a half-length and take the lead into the stretch.  In the lane Royal Currier repelled a late challenge by Christiesborntorun and drew off to win The 2011 Anderson Fowler Stakes by a length and one-quarter in a final time of 1:02.18.  Christiesborntorun was second best while Freud’s Honour was third.  Royal Currier is a three-year-old bay gelding owned by Mat Stables, trained by Patricia Farro and was ridden by Joe Bravo.
