After the break Medley lead the field through the opening quarter mile as Miss Lombardi and Rasta Farian were second and third.  Down the backside Maddy's Heart pulled his way to the lead passing the half mile marker as Medley was still vying for the lead inside in second while Miss Lombardi was now in third.  Medley would resurface on the lead at the three-quarter as Maddy's Heart was three wide in second as Miss Lombardi was still in with a chance in third.  In the lane Medley was game but could not hold off the on coming closing kick of Social Queen on the outside as she was able to get up by a neck to win The Politely Stakes by a neck on the wire.  Medley was second while Royalties closed on the outside for third.  Social Queen is a four-year-old bay filly owned by Jayeff B Stables, trained by Alan Goldberg and was ridden by Jose Lezcano.

Social Queen wins The Politely Stakes with Jose Lezcano in the irons.
