Charley's Diamond and Forest Park scrimmaged through an opening half-mile 44.85 before Forest Park drew away and held off a late challenge from Joey P. to win The Monmouth University Stakes in a final time of 1:03.87.  Forest Park is a six-year-old dark bay/brown gelding owned by Daniel M. Ryan, trained by Michael V. Pino and was ridden by Kendrick Carmouche.
