Saturday, June 11, 2005 Race 5

Main Track: Fast    Turf: Good

Finish Wire:

At the break Bold Days came in leaving the gate while Dashboard Drummer and Trueamericanspirit bumped.  It did not affect the outcome however as Don Six took position at the front of the pack and made every pole a winning one carving fractions of 21.60 and 44.12 drawing off under a vigorous hand ride to win The Longfellow Stakes by two and one-quarter lengths in a final time of 1:09.03.  Bold Days after getting off poorly was second best as Dashboard Drummer ran third.  Don Six is a five-year-old dark bay/brown horse owned by Patricia A. Generazio, trained by Scott A. Lake and was ridden by Aaron Gryder.
