As the field was sent on their way My Snookie’s Boy lunged from the gate spotting the leaders about two lengths.  Ricardo A went to the lead and set early fractions of 22.68 and 46.01 maintaining a half-length lead over Max Forever who was stalking the leader on the outside.  As the field made its way through the backstretch and into the turn Tap Day dropped into another gear and took the lead from Ricardo A as Max Forever was giving way.  In the stretch Tap Day drew clear of Ricardo A by four lengths widening the lead with every stride going on to win The Frisk Me Now Stakes by nine and one-quarter lengths in a final time of 1:40.64.  Ricardo A was second best as it was another two and three-quarter lengths back to Sinister G in the show spot.  Tap Day is a four-year-old dark bay/brown colt owned by Edward P. Evans, trained by Mark A. Hennig and was ridden by Jose Velez, Jr.
