The field was sent off to a good start as Tam’s Terms took the field
out of the chute and onto the main course leading the field underneath
the finish wire for the first time. Sir Walter Rahy, American Freedom
and Foufa’s Warrior battled for the second through fourth spots as the
field made its way down the backstretch. Entering the far turn Tam’s
Terms was challenged by Revved Up who ultimately inched away from the
pacesetter in the stretch digging in to score a one-length victory
over Tam’s Terms in The Battlefield Stakes in a final time of
1:48.24. Cacht Wells closed well for the show spot. Revved Up is a
seven-year-old gray/roan gelding owned by Live Oak Plantation, trained
by Christophe Clement and was ridden by Aaron Gryder. |
