The eleventh anniversary of the annual race sponsored by the Oceanport Racing Report took place on the under card of The Sorority.  At left is the winner, Kelly’s Pic, of the $37,000claiming  race for fillies and mares three-years-old and upward going one and one-eighth miles over the turf course labeled as firm.  The three-year-old dark bay/brown filly by Close Up out of the Quest For Fame mare Famosa is owned by James A. Riccio, trained by Edward Plesa, Jr. and was ridden by Chuck C. Lopez.
